MODULE 3 – HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS

Performing line hydraulic calculations with the aid of VBA-enabled excel calculation sheets. Use of case studies for thorough understanding

NPSHA, NPSHR, Cavitation and Affinity Laws for pumps
Detailed analysis of pump performance based on characteristic curves

How will the online live session be conducted?
We conduct our online sessions using safe and secure platforms like Skype / Google Meet. These platforms create virtual classrooms so that students can interact with the faculty exactly as in offline classroom teaching. |
What is the total duration of the course?
Regular batch : 02 Months
Weekend batch : 04 Month
Regular Batch : Monday-Friday : 8:30 am to 11:30 am
Weekend Batch : Saturday –Sunday : 9:00 am to 1:30 am
Only Sunday Batch : Sunday : 2:00 pm to 7 pm

All students receive hard copies of the notes as take-away |
Have you completed any online sessions before this?
We have been successfully conducting online batches since March 2020. You will have the same experience as an offline classroom teaching |
Are you going to cover the topic in case the lecture is missed out due to poor network connection?
Our course is structured around modules. Hence, in case you missed the module, you may attend module of other batches, subject to seat availability |
What is the total strength of batch?
We limit our batches to a maximum of 15-20 students. Keeping a small batch size allows us to pay attention on individual student and promote holistic development of the engineer |
Is it worth to do this course online instead of classroom?
It is always advisable to utilize the time of this lockdown. Online courses will give you the same feel and experience as offline teaching. |
What will be the mode of teaching after the lockdown ends?
We will switch back to the offline mode (classroom teaching) with appropriate precautionary measures in place. |
How do we solve our doubts during online sessions?
You can either promptly ask your doubt by notifying the faculty or wait till the end of the session for the discussion |
What are the various software programs that you teach?
We believe in getting the fundamentals of engineering right. If you understand the concepts, learning software will be easy. Rest assured; we make use of inhouse developed excel based software for all module-based activities |
